1. Project overview
1.1A short summary of the work: what we're making, who it's for and where it will be used.
1.2This document sets out what is included in Project name so both sides are working from the same picture before anything starts. It is not a contract on its own — once it's agreed, the terms are carried into a signed agreement.
2. What's included
2.1• One 60-second hero video, edited and colour-graded, delivered in 9:16 and 1:1
2.2• Three 15-second cutdowns for social
2.3• Ten retouched stills from the same shoot
3. What's not included
3.1• Paid advertising usage — organic posting only unless we agree a separate licence
3.2• Copywriting, captions and community management
3.3• Additional shoot days, travel outside the agreed location, or talent fees
3.4Anything in this list can absolutely be added — it's simply quoted as extra work rather than assumed inside this fee.
4. Timeline and milestones
4.1• Kick-off call, brief signed off and moodboard shared — date to be confirmed
4.2• Shoot day — date to be confirmed
4.3• First edit delivered for review — date to be confirmed
4.4• Final files delivered — date to be confirmed
4.5Dates assume materials, products and feedback arrive as set out below. If they're late, the remaining dates move by the same number of days.
5. Revisions
5.12 rounds of revisions are included on the deliverables listed above. A round means one consolidated set of feedback, returned in one message.
5.2Extra rounds are quoted separately at my standard day rate.
6. Fee and payment structure
6.1The fee for this scope will be confirmed in writing before work starts, along with a deposit and payment terms.
7. Assumptions and dependencies
7.1This scope, the fee and the dates are based on the following being true:
7.2• Client provides products, brand assets and any required logos before the shoot day
7.3• Feedback is consolidated into one response per round, within three working days
7.4• One named point of contact approves the work on the client's behalf
8. Next steps
8.1If this looks right, reply to confirm — or note anything you'd like changed and I'll send an updated version. Once it's agreed, we'll put it into a signed agreement covering usage rights, cancellation and payment terms in full.
8.2Questions are welcome before you agree it. It's far easier to adjust a scope now than mid-project.
